Do I need a Repair or Replacement?We always try to repair your existing windscreen before replacing it. Depending on the size and position of the damage.

Is it safe to drive until I have the work completed?Modern windscreens are made of two layers of glass with a tough layer of film in between. This means that your windscreen will rarely collapse. As a fully mobile service, you don’t need to drive to us for your repair/replacement, we can come to you at a time and place of your choosing.

What is covered by Warranty?In our warranty, a lifetime guarantee is included for all completed work.

How long will it be before I can drive my vehicle safely?Usually, you can drive away 30 min after a front windscreen or rear window replacement, or immediately after a windscreen repair or side window replacement. Our technicians use the best materials, including the industry's first adhesive with a 30 min drive-away time for windscreen installations. The technician will advise you if any additional time is required.

How much will it cost?Simply put, the cost will depend on three main factors: - The type of damage e.g. a chip or a crack - The piece of glass that is damaged e.g. the windscreen or side window - If your vehicle insurance covers you for glass damage If your insurance covers glass damage, the repair or replacement is free of charge for you. To make things even easier, we can speak directly with your insurer and manage the claim on your behalf.

Is the work covered by a guarantee?Yes, absolutely. Any repair or replacement – as well as the parts and workmanship – is guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle. Our guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.

Is there a deductible if CARGLASS or DESA AUTOGLAS does not handle the work?Your deductible, up to CHF 200 is covered for a replacement. You should be able to choose who's fix your car.
